Noise has been appointed to help drive the expansion of TaskRabbit in Europe through an always-on paid social media strategy.

Founded in 2008, TaskRabbit is the global network that connects people with skilled, reliable Taskers from their local communities who can help get work done in and around the home; from assembling furniture and minor home repairs, to cleaning and running errands. The company was acquired by the Ingka Group (IKEA) in 2017 and currently operates in hundreds of major metros across seven countries - the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal.

With the UK as the first market focus, Noise will look to use a range of social media channels to proactively drive and attract new customers to the platform. Noise has been retained to create and build an always-on social strategy that incorporates social first content, targeted media and out-of-the box social activations.

“We are very excited for this partnership. The opportunity for further growth in Europe is very sizeable given the status and wide platform adoption achieved in the US. The sharing economy is going to continue to grow and TaskRabbit is very well positioned to capitalise on this. They provide the right marketplace to connect people who want everyday help with an amazing network of talented professionals to get the job done well.” Anthony Goldman, Co-Founder of Noise Media.

“Growth in Europe is a key priority for TaskRabbit and partnering with Noise is an exciting step in driving that acceleration,” said Jo Denman, EU Marketing Director at TaskRabbit. “We are thrilled to be working with Noise and are confident that their cutting edge social media expertise will help us grow our community, forging connections and aiding us on our mission, to help make everyday life easier for everyday people.”
