About Noise Media

We have built and run the UK’s largest online student community and worked with over 200 brands to deliver industry leading, advertising campaigns. Our current platforms include Everything Student, Student Money Saver and Never Grow Up. We are now looking to expand our portfolio of communities beyond students and grow new social pages with a particular emphasis on video content. We’re looking for a new Social Content Director to lead our social growth strategy at an exciting time as we look to develop and grow our portfolio of social communities.

About You…

We’re looking for a new Social Content Director to lead our social growth strategy at an exciting time as we look to develop and grow our portfolio of social communities. You’re ambitious, determined, love a challenge and can lead a team of content creators. You relish the opportunity to manage a team and help grow large scale social media pages in a fast paced environment. You have knowledge of social media platforms and will be keen to network with a variety of social influencers, social groups and pages to expand our portfolio of communities and enrich our branded campaigns.

What you’ll be doing…

Lead and coordinate our social growth strategy, in terms of the type of content we produce, collaborations with influencers

and acquisitions of other social pages.

Manage and direct a team of content creators.
Develop and manage relationships with influencers to work on collaborations and brand campaigns.
Capitalise on current Internet and news trends to boost growth across our channels.
Work directly with brands to execute powerful creative briefs to increase our growth and put brand campaigns at the forefront.
Spot content with the potential to go viral, or devise ideas for social media audiences.

 

Requirements…

Experience 1-2 years  in social media management, with emphasis on skills in growth, promotion, planning and idea creation.
Willingness to start conversations with influencers and building good relationships with them.
Strong understanding of brand advertising on social media.
Understanding of social media trends.

Desirable but not required…

Ability to direct and/or shoot original video content.
Degree level or equivalent within Media, Communications or Creative Courses.
Competent with Adobe Photoshop & After Effects or similar design & video software.
A great eye for imagery, videos and GIFs.
Understanding of Insights and Analytics.
Experience using Facebook Live.
